Privacy Policy

Deepfield is operated by Igor Morozov. In this policy, "we" means Igor Morozov. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Deepfield. Questions: support@trydeepfield.com.

The short version

• Your conversation is not stored on our servers and we don't read it. It stays in your browser.
• To reply, your messages pass through our server to an AI model (Anthropic).
• Payments go through Stripe. We never see your card.
• We keep only technical records on our server — no conversation text.

Who receives what

• AstrologyAPI — your birth date, time, coordinates and time zone, to calculate the planets.
• Anthropic (Claude) — your chart and the whole conversation, to write the replies and the reading.
• Stripe — your payment. We never see your card details.
• OpenStreetMap Nominatim — the name of the city you type, sent from our server (not from your browser), to find it on the map.
• Formspree — your email, only if you leave it.

Your birth data

You enter a name, date, time and place of birth. They are used to calculate your chart:

• the positions of the planets are calculated by AstrologyAPI — it receives the date, time, coordinates and time zone of your birth (not your name);
• houses and the other points are calculated on our own server;
• when you type a city (3 characters or more), the text is sent through our server to OpenStreetMap Nominatim to find it on the map; Nominatim sees our server, not your IP address.

Payments and the saved reading are linked to your chart through a one-way fingerprint (a hash) of the birth data, not through your name.

Your conversation

To write the replies and the reading, the conversation — including your name and the chart data — is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude). Short related requests go there too: working out which language you asked for, and translating parts of the reading into that language.

The conversation is not stored on our servers: on each reply it passes through our server on its way to Anthropic and is not saved there. It is kept in your own browser (local storage), together with your reading, any maps you bought and a record of your purchases, so that a reload doesn't lose them.

What our server keeps

Our server and its database (hosted on Replit) keep only:

• signed version numbers of your session and one-way hashes of the conversation (used to stop replays and to recover a lost reply) — never the text;
• rate-limit counters, keyed by a keyed hash of your IP address — never the address itself;
• payment-check records: the Stripe checkout session IDs that have been used, and how many add-on messages each purchase has used;
• feedback, only if you send it: your ratings and the text you typed into the feedback form, with the language, reading mode, app version and date — no conversation text and no chart;
• anonymous daily counters of steps in the product (for example "a chart was built", "a reading was shown") — the name of the step and the day only;
• cached translations of the interface text (the same for everyone, no personal data);
• cached city search results for 30 days: the list of places found, stored under a one-way hash of the search text — not linked to you, your chart or your conversation.

Server logs

Our server logs record technical information only: errors, timings, the size of AI requests and responses, error messages sent by your browser (the message and where it happened), and — when the service corrects the AI's wording — the kind of correction and the part of the reading it was in. The logs contain no text of your conversation or your reading. A debugging mode that records conversation content exists for development and is switched off on the live service.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's own checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us. We receive whether the payment completed, which product it was for and the chart fingerprint described above.

Email

We have your email only if you left it and agreed to receive emails about new tools. It is stored with Formspree. You can unsubscribe at any time by writing to support@trydeepfield.com.

Other services your browser loads

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, scripts from jsDelivr and cdnjs, and Stripe's script for payments. Like any website resource, these services receive your IP address and browser details when your browser requests them. We use no advertising and no tracking scripts.

Deleting your data

• Conversation, reading and purchase records: clear this site's data in your browser settings. Note that this also removes your saved reading and the record of what you bought.
• Email: write to support@trydeepfield.com and we will delete it.
• Feedback: it is not linked to you, so we cannot find a particular entry; if you remember what you wrote and when, write to us and we will try.

We do not currently delete the technical server records described above automatically; they contain no conversation text.

Age

Deepfield is for people aged 18 and over.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
